The GT65X Series Time Interval Analyzers (TIA's) are super high speed time and frequency measurement instruments that can make up to 10 million measurements per second at a resolution of 0.075 ns for each measurement (2 ps with averaging). Compared to traditional time interval counters, the fast measurement rate gives you the new capabilty to analyze dynamic changes in frequency or time intervals. |

- Time Interval vs. Time
In addition to the functions offered by traditional time interval and frequency counters, the GT65X Series Time Interval Analyzers open an exciting new world of measurements that can be applied in a large variety of fields. Unlike voltmeters and digital scopes, resolution is not given up for speed when using time interval analyzers. When measurements are taken over the same time, the exact same resolution is obtained as a precision counter. For example, when operating at maximum rate, the GT658 can take 3.5 million frequency measurements in one second. Each of these measurements have 3 digits of resolution. However, by using the first and last samples, the frequency can be determined to 10 digits of resolution. The best of both worlds is achieved - fast measurements and high resolution in a single pass.
The GT65X family is supplied with software drivers to support development environments such as: Microsoft Visual C++, Borland C, ATEasy, Microsoft Visual Basic, Borland Pascal, Borland Delphi, and more. A virtual panel is provided for standalone applications and debug mode.
